Got Craft had lots of summer accessory treasures

Got Craft held their April 26 show at Templeton High School gym. What a great space, high ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of quality and creative crafters.

The first crafter we stopped at was Edit with their creative and wearable cowls and handbags made of recycled leather jackets. A cowl could be made of a sports jersey (great way to recycle that team jersey from the team you are fed up with losing). We went on to look at Cagey Bee lockets and found a bird locket (graphic of the spring season). Groovy glass girl had some  necklaces made of recycled glass in many colours including some with this season’s colours. I was completely surprised by Passed Out dog shoes made of left over leather and fabric. The styles were just right for the season, pointed toes, flats with lots of fun colours. Twigg Prints had some lovely shopper’s made of delicate prints combined with burlap sacks and leather handles as well as a gathered shopper and a wristlet.

Mariah+ Hazel had some polymer jewelry in this season’s pastels. Creative styles that would work with that simple stylish outfit. We really loved the metal boxes with vintage prints that could be used for powder, mints or aspirins. Interesting cufflinks for men or maybe women also had the vintage touch by Firefly Notes. Cowl & Company had made some summer cowls with bird prints and bright stripes.

The quality of everything was excellent, everyone was very helpful and I hope to go to a Got Craft event again. Will they consider having their next event at Kitsilano High School gym? It is very rare that any craft events are held in Kitsilano.
